On 21 September 2021, an online meeting of the international partners of the PERSON project took place to discuss the first results of the study and to agree on the conduct of the comparative study. Prof. Eva Gajdošová presented the data of Slovakia, Ala Petrulīte told about the main results in Lithuania, but the researcher Lāsma Lagzdiņa and prof. Guna Svence described the sample indicators of Latvian teachers.
The partners concluded that preliminary data from all countries show that teachers in distance learning experience had a lack of emotional self-regulation and social support, as well as difficulties in coping with crisis situations. There are significant differences depending on the age of the teachers, the length of service and the type of institution. The results of the study will help to tailor the digital support programme to the needs of teachers in each country.
