The topics of the theoretical and practical sessions of the conference are support and psychological assistance to teachers and assistance to professionals in the educational community in solving different educational problems, communicating with pedagogues and leaders of educational institutions. The focus was on the role of psychologists and teachers in the education system, and psychological resilience in the context of challenges of the pandemic.
At the conference plenary session, the results of the first year of the project research were presented. Guna Svence from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Art of the University of Latvia offered a theoretical analysis of the concept of "resilience". Professor Eva Gajdošová from the Pan-European University in Bratislava presented a comparative study "Teachers' vitality in Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia".
In the second part of the conference, the presentations and the workshops were held by Lithuanian professionals Gražina Šeibokienė, Miroslav Filistovič, Ramunė Dirvanskienė, Viktorija Grigaliūnienė, and others.
At the end of the conference, the importance of programme of supervision and psychological exercises to strengthen the teachers covitality in crisis situations were discussed.
